Paris Hilton kept a low profile Wednesday night after reports of a breakup with Benji Madden were confirmed earlier that day.
Hilton and a girlfriend tucked in to a surf ‘n’ turf meal at Murano Restaurant and Lounge in West Hollywood. According to an onlooker, “Paris had a fairly low-key and relaxed dinner with a close girlfriend.”
Hilton, who split from Madden after dating for more than nine months, then made a late-night appearance at Hollywood’s Crown Bar, where, for the most part, she didn’t speak to anyone and spent most of the evening talking on her phone or texting.
“Hilton looked distraught and completely lonesome,” an eyewitness told PEOPLE. “She wasn’t her usual prim and proper self.”
Reps for Hilton, 27, and Madden, 29, have not commented on the breakup.

A “friend” of Paris probably.
It could possibly be one of the BFF contestants blabbing to the media. After all it was that Vanessa chick who first blabbed to the media in the beginning about the breakup (which she had ZERO business doing that).
When did she do that and what did she say?
