Prisoner 9818783 is on her best behavior, according to the latest updates from the jail where Paris Hilton is now leading the very simple life.
Steve Whitmore, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, which runs the Century Regional Detention Facility in suburban LA, told the Associated Press that “her demeanor was helpful, she was focused, she was cooperative.”
Whitmore said Paris, 26, had the usual jail breakfast on Monday: cereal, bread and juice.
Paris’s mother, Kathy Hilton, who brought her daughter to the facility on Sunday night, is trying to be resolute, according to Hilton’s publicist, Elliot Mintz.
Mintz told the New York Post that “Kathy is very emotional. She wanted to exhibit strength for her daughter.”
Mintz added, “She thought it was the most important thing to do. She thinks Paris will emerge from this a better person. It’s only been a day.”
The hotel heiress is expected to serve at least 23 days for violating her probation stemming from a DUI arrest.
She is in the “special needs” unit of the jail, which contains 12 cells reserved for high-profile inmates. Each cell is 12′x8′ with a small window, table, toilet, washbasin and two bunk beds – though Hilton is alone, reportedly to prevent any cellmate from selling a story about the experience of spending time with the heiress.

I think Paris actuall wears a white jumpsuit in the jail block she is in, NOT orange as reported.
Anyway, that’s what a sheriff friend told me.
Just hearsay,though.
As to Sarah Silverman, let me just say this -
Last year, in a similar situation, Paris Hilton turned down the job and refused to make fun of Britney Spears and her divorce probelms.
That shows real class!
Sarah Silverman, on the other hand, revealed herself to be a pathetic human being. She did not have to say such garbage about Paris.
Sarah Silverman is also a disgraceful Jew. “Just following orders” was the Nazi excuse.
Most of us remember the pics of Paris and Stavros attending Sarah’s birthday party, so I assume Paris thought of Sarah as a friend. How sad.
All these betrayals by people she trusted must be very painful for Paris. My heart goes out to Paris Hilton.
Thank you for letting me rant.
2 days already, this is enough for Paris.
Most people only serve in prison 1 day. Police should treat them equal!
Please let her go, now!
I hope they let her out early! It’s already been 2 days. I hope the most they make her serve is a week. The jail’s are overcrowded and a week IS punishment. Heck an hour in jail is horrible let alone a week. They shouldn’t punish her more harshly than they would a normal person. They let Michelle Rodriguez out after not even a day last year for the EXACT SAME OFFENSE (violating probation that she got from her DUI). So why are they punishing Paris more harshly? That isn’t fair at all.
Oh My God!! Poor Paris.. My Best Wishes for Her… Luv ya Bitch.. From Venezuela ;)…. Can someone tell me the hour and put it on here the pics when paris in on jail???? …. Sorry But I Don’t know to much english but… I send My Best Wishes to her :(:(…. Luv ya Paris….
no hope 4 her,
she goes back verry nice and stronger to give everbody the ride back no body can feel like her,and no body can now how this step help her.
don´t look bad fam hilton she have nice spirit about her
see you bedros
Paris,I think that going to jail may be a good time for you to think about the way you have been living your life. I know that when one has to many choices they become confused and take many things for granted. You’re not the only person in this situation, I’m sure. You should do positive things with your status. Like traveling around the world visiting children that are less fortunate. Really, If I was in your shoes I’m sure I would get a degree and absorb as much knowledge as I possible could. I would not be out partying and blowing my money foolishly knowing that there are so many in the world that have nothing. A lot of children in our world will never have the opportunity to read and write or even attend school for that matter. Try to put others ahead of yourself in a good positive meaningful way. I think it would be very difficult to be someone like you “celebrity Status” because the world has it’s eyes on you all the time. Don’t worry what is meant to be will be. We are so quick to judge others…maybe we should look at who we are before pointing our fingers….take care
no one will ever understand us Aquarius girls any how…lol

LOL, some posters are hilarious with their unsolicited advise.
What they are basially saying is that they want Paris to be like Them.
But Paris is Paris and there is nobody else like her, not even among other heiresses.
She stands out from the crowd.
And that’s why the international Press is now camped outside the Lynwood jail.
What Paris Hilton does is NEWS around the world.
Paris already pulls in $$ millions in business, and all she really needs to do well is know how to read and understand her P&L statements.
I think its fair they keep her in jail for more than a day. Us normal non-celebrities have to stay in jail for how long we are sentenced, even though other celebrities haven’t had to, its about time they started. How unjust could it be when she violated probation. She broke the law..so she goes to jail. Celebrities need to know that they can’t just break the law and only have to serve a day of jail, thats just not fair for us.
if you dont break the law you wont go to jail, is that hard?
p.s Jesus is coming back soon… are you ready?
