   Was she misquoted?
   Or did she mean the western part of the African continent? There IS one, you know Lol.

   Reporters are just too quick to try and write something negative about Paris.

   Of course, most Americans could not even tell you where Capetown or Jburg are located, nor do they care.

   I’m not entirely sure what Paris meant, but yeah of course there is a western part of the African CONTINENT…but “West Africa” isn’t a country, hehe.

   I think there used to be a country called West Africa…but there’s not one anymore. lol. My mother thought Africa was all one big country so Paris’s mistake is hardly a big deal.

   I think thats ok. I didnt know that south africa is a country so its fine if she thought that west africa is a country.

   Nambia, which is adjacent to South Africa was called South West Africa for nearly a century and is still referred to by that name by many South Africans (which is where Paris was when she made this quote). So she was probably just talking about South West Africa and forgot the “South”. Easy mistake, especially for somebody who makes so many public comments. Eventually everyone has a little slip up. Paris is no different than John McCain in that regard.
