Paris Hilton has hit out at the media saying that 90% of stories about her are “complete lies”.

According to Reuters, Paris said: “I don’t pay attention to lies because I am a good person, I work very hard and I’ve built this empire on my own. I think this is an inspiration for a lot of girls out there.”

When asked about her grandfather Barron Hilton’s recent decision to donate 97% of his $2.3bn wealth and possibly her inheritance to charity, she said: “It won’t affect me anyway. My grandfather is an incredible man. He is very generous. And what he is doing is amazing.”

Hilton’s next project is an MTV show ‘Paris Hilton’s My New BFF’, in which people will compete to be her friend.

Talking about the show, which will air later this year, Hilton said: “I obviously have a lot of friends already but I just thought it would make a great TV show.”
