Paris talks about break-up on KIISFM

I knew they were just on a break and NOT “broken up”!

here’s what I think:

1.Paris is a nice person, she’s not going to diss benji in public like that.What she’s really doing is damage control by creating little white lies.

2. When I heard that benji was controlling paris I did not believe it at first but I did some sreaching and found out that the reason that his ex sophie monk dump him was because he was contorlling her.Benji is not a party person like paris and he does not drink, so I feel that Paris really did not change for herself she did it because maybe benji bossing her around. They are to diffrent people and that another reason they broke up

3.Paris said the reason they broke up is because she’s too “busy”. Well it is true that she’s going to be busy with her new cd, her next movie, and her next bff show but like I said before the problem was benji. Do you find it strange that paris always talked about having aa family and getting married with benji and now they broke up because she is “busy”?? Everyone knows that when you get married and/or when you start a family you still will be busy with work.

4. Paris said she is not dating and that’s the last the on her mind. I do believe her because she just broke up with benji and it might be too early for her to go out and find a new boyfriend. What she’s really going to do is stay single, party, do her work and then find someone new.

5. I do believe she cares for him and will still be friends with him but they will become a couple anymore, we see them hanging out but nothing else. They said benji asked for a second chance but she said no, so maybe he blew his final chance.

bottom line: all paris was doing is was saying some nice things about him. If they were “taking a break” then her rep should have said that instead of saying they broke up.

I didn’t find her to be that believable. Trying to give her the benefit of the doubt as a fan is tough b/c it seems like she was hanging w/ Stavros for awhile at an awfully coincidental time, but says that it was just a brief hello. But, the pics are clearly taken over a period of time. There are different people standing/sitting in every pic. In one, he doesn’t have a jacket on (and is going with the ridiculous unbuttoned shirt in a club look) and is standing leaning down to talk to her as she sits on the other side of the couch. In others, they’ve both moved to the same side of the couch, he’s got a jacket on and they’re at eye level. In another it looks like he moved to the other side of the couch. Different people, different clothes, different positions, etc. That can’t be done in a quick couple of mintues. He’s clearly flirting and she’s smiling back. There’s being friendly w/ an x, but if he’s taking his jacket off and grabbing/caressing your neck and I was uninterested, I wouldn’t smile back.

the we’re “too busy” was easy to call.If they’re on a break she’s just trying to convince Benji nothing happened. I’ll go with Stavros or the Myspace guy as next, with Benji in third place.

(I don’t think this is harsh, it’s just what the pics look like to me. I’d rather hear about when the album drops or her new movie anyway.)

The interview is believable enough.
Taking a break is not a bad thing, their relationship was moving a bit too fast anyway.

Why would any poster insist they know the facts better than the actual people involved. Ultimately, what they decide to do is no else’s business.

I also saw some new pictures today of Benji, he was laughing and he looks fine.
They both will survive LOL.

The new BFF episode this week was very entertaining again.
I really like Shelley and I hope she wins. She is very sweet and seems trustworthy.

So it sounds from the interview that Paris is thinking of taking her show into more countries, that’s hot !!!

I think they’re really broken-up. She just doesn’t want things to get worse.

Yeah she may sound sadder now that she is getting older and is probably beginning to wonder just how it is going to happen that she has a marriage and family……….

Yeah, I don’t think they’re on a break..
Something must have happened, because a week before they were happy as can be.

Something like an argument must have occurd, and they decided to just say fine, whatever?

taking a break just means that youre not sure about breaking up for real or waiting what time will tell.
i believe her words and i´m glad she did the interview so i´m taking back some things i said before, like the jealousy thingy. why would she lie? theres no reason to do that. and she doesnt sound like making something up, this really sounds like straight from her heart, sad but with a lot on her mind to make up with. and she loves him and i believe he loves her too, but like i said before: its not always that easy. loving each other cant protect you from difficulties in a relationship, even couples who love each other a hell lot, break up or taking a break to see what their relationship is all about and if they can solve the problems. i hope they can clear that out and have a reunion, but it sounds like theyre gonna need some time. its better to take some time off than to stick together and make it worse or not being able to move forward. good luck, Paris!

Jane Citizen, um…not everyone needs to get married and have kids, I know it’s something she has always wanted and blah blah blah, but really, the whole marriage/kids thing is a bit oppressive to women…for example, “bride” is from an old Teutonic word for “cook,” and husband translates as “house-holder.”

If you say “He’s my husband” that roughly means “he’s my house-holder,” implying that he has ownership over the house and property, including you.

Sorry for the rant there.

I actually agree with part of what Dawn wrote. It’s “no one else’s business.” Now, hopefully Paris won’t talk about her next bf in every interview or call in to Seacrest every other week and that he’s the love of her life, never been so happy and on.

If you always discuss it, then don’t be surprised if it sours that people will still discuss it, good and bad, and that you’ve lost some control. So, I definitely agree with Dawn on that. No more about her “relationships.”

She doesn’t let Letterman ask her jail q’s anymore and all Lohan q’s are off limits. She should impose the same on her dating life (and that includes her parents. Tell them not to comment on her private life so much “Benji could be the one” etc). maybe then we’d actually find out something more about things like her album release date, which I assume is still happening.

I think everyone will survive this just fine.
Neither Paris nor Benji owe anyone further details about the breakup.
Just let them move on.

I think Paris will be a presenter at the AMA tomorrow night on ABC.

Agreed. Hopefully she’ll move on, probably already has, but this time maybe she and her parents won’t feel the need to shout about every detail so much.

I just hope that Paris makes the decision that is right for her, whether they get back together or move on. I support her in anything that makes her happy and it’s up to her what she talks about and in her own time.

I don’t really care about her relationships that much. I miss the party girl Paris.
