My opinon is that paris shoudn't go to jail. I know she is A young adult but everyone in life makes mistakes. I know that it is 45 days but just hink About the other s who have murder the like of others loved 1's. it is not As bad as that if that that should be ur entire life. what paris did was a simple mistake. so I hope all of the people that read this is that u think of all the people who have got arressed for other things than just a driving thing.

PARIS GO TO JAIL. Your a grown up...now start acting like one. I noticed that everyone here that supports Paris is still probaby in elementary school by the way they write and spell. She does not care for anyone on this website. If you think she does...your a fool. She cares for one person....herself. She is not above the law, and should be punished.

YES .. send her to jail to pay for breaking the law. That's what happens when you do bad things -- you pay. Money should not buy you your freedom when you consistently break the law.

Yes she should go to jail. Just because she is a celeb doesn't mean she should get special treatment. The stupid, ugly, poor little rich girl will have what is coming to her when she's in jail! I say they should do this more often to teach people like her a lesson. She could have killed someone while under the influence of alcohol. Maybe then her "5 year old" fans wouldn't be feeling so sorry for her.

How the heck can there be Paris Hilton fans? My God, are you guys sick in the head? I believe so.

She is not an influence whatsoever. She doesn't even care about her fans either. If she saw you walking down the street, she'd automatically comment on how ugly or fat you are. Gessh, at least look up to someone who is liable to look up too.

Oh, and yes, she DOES desrve to go to jail. DOWN W/ PARIS!!!!! HAHA!!!

Well here in Canada, If you get caught drunk driving, your car is impounded for 30 days minimum, (at a cost of 80 bucks a day impound fee) you are automatically disqualified for driving for 5 years and you need to get an alcohol and drug asessment done. on top of court costs which are in the neighborhood 1500 dollars, and you pay for your own assessment, another 500 dollars.thats first offence, second offence, just double all that. driving while disqualified from an impaired nets you about 1 year in the jail. and if someone is injured, or killed, you have an attempted murder charge on you. if they are killed, its vehicular homicide. 45 days??? ha ha ha thats a joke, pretty lenient judge if you ask me. how about 1 year less 1 day, that sounds more appropriate to me. and no im not one of the "MADD" people. Here we have some of the toughest drinkin driving laws in the world. Granted no one got hurt, but what if someone did? do you think 45 days would be sufficient to cover the loss of a mother of 2 children, or the father of a family of 5? Or how about your kid being run down in the middle of the street? Celebrity or not! there is one law for all, it doesnt matter if you rich and famous or not. Under the skin, your still just a regular person

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) May 7, 2007 -- Innovative Spotlight, Inc., Monthlytshirt.com, has just launched its newest monthlyT-shirt entitled, "Free Paris." This site provides individuals with a monthly subscription to pop culture inspired T-shirts. The unique tees highlight some of the most talked about topics in Hollywood.

The newest T-shirt for the month highlights the recent attention Paris Hilton has received in the media regarding her recent run in with the law. "We want to provide humorous and creative images on our T-shirts," said Jeana Bobich, President of Innovative Spotlight Inc. "Subscribers to our club are the same people who read People magazine. They enjoy pop culture and now they can wear it."

Subscribers to our club are the same people who read People magazine. They enjoy pop culture and now they can wear it.
Aprils tongue in cheek T-shirt of the Month reflected on upon one of the most talked about American Idol hopefuls, Sanjaya Malakar. Other popular T-shirt topics have included a "lost" panties t-shirt which depicted the young women in Hollywood who had "lost" their panties. The t-shirts make a bold statement about what is hot and happening in pop culture.

Subscribing to Monthly T-Shirt is like having a subscription to a hip magazine, but instead of receiving a magazine, the subscriber receives a unique T-shirt at their doorstep once a month. The T-shirts are a conversation piece as well as a part of pop culture history.

She violated the terms of her probation and of her plea deal and also was apparently speeding with lights out (and with license suspended), despite a prior stop in which she acknowledged in writing the fact of the suspension. As an attorney, I can imagine others getting AT LEAST 45 days. Again, her conduct essentially invalidated her earlier plea deal was itself aggravating. Elementary that such would cause major problems. On a different note, her mother's reported in-courtroom (laughter and) comments are themselves disgraceful. Others among us truly do behave more responsibly, even at her age, and without any looming inheritance. Now, on to more important matters...

Celebrity's are just like regular people, break the law and you pay the penality. I doubt if 45 days will even phase her.

People will never know if it is true that she was told that she was permitted to drive for work purposes, so I think the judge has no right to start drawing conclusions and therefore sentence her to 45 days in jail. It's wrong....this shouldn't even be a discussion point. It's just plain wrong.

That's ridiculous! She didn't know that she couldn't drive. Her LAWYERS didn't know either. She should not go to jail PERIOD. She's been sentenced on the drunk driving thing, so she's done/doing her "time" for that. That's enough. She hasn't done anything wrong.
