Paris Hilton has told friends that “doing time” could ruin her career.
The Simple Life star faces up to 90 days in prison if found guilty of violating her DUI probation. Hilton was stopped by police in February for driving without her headlights on - and discovered by officers to be driving with a suspended license. Paris’ spokesman Elliot Mintz said she wasn’t aware her license had been suspended.
A source told Britain’s More magazine: “Paris says if she goes to jail, even for just a day, her life will be over.
“She knows she’ll lose a lot of work if she gets a reputation as someone who has done time. Her whole career is based on her image and maintaining a fan base - she has nothing else to rely on. She’s petrified.
“She’s the butt of quite a few jokes in Los Angeles these days and she hates it. She’s been crying a lot, especially when she’s been drinking, and is scared that her life is falling apart.”
The source added: “She’s missed two club appearances in the past couple of weeks. People in the industry are taking her less seriously and she doesn’t feel like she’s Hollywood’s Golden Girl any more.
“She’s more alone than ever before right now and this could be one situation she can’t charm her way out of.”
Meanwhile, NYDN reports the heiress was spotted arriving alone at L.A. hot spot Les Deux a week ago Friday.
She met up with sister Nicky and seemed adequately served by the bar, according to a witness.
“But as Paris was about to leave, she started saying ‘firecrotch’ to herself - but loudly - so everyone around her could hear,” says the fellow clubgoer. “And she wasn’t saying it to anybody - she was all by herself. She was practically chanting it!”

Aww. I feel relle bad for her, she must be having a relle hard time. I think the industry thinks she has basiclly no talent and are tired of her. Yes, jail i believe could ruin her whole entire career, destroy her fan base, she’s becoming less and less famous everyday, i guess ppl are loosing interest in her, i know ppl that used to love her but got bored of her and dont care anymore. Even though I love Paris and I think she’s one of the most beautiful ppl ever she was relle never Hollywood’s Golden Girl cuz she does have a lot of non-fans out there.

She has been doing alright and will continue to do so.
I feel so bad for Paris. I hate it how people treat her as if she’s inhuman. I do agree that she used to do a lot of stupid and retarded things and she may have deserved all the slander then but she HAS changed now. Just compare a picture of her from like 2001 to one now. SHe looks so classy now. BUt those haters just never let her leave her past behind. Paris is such a fighter, if I were in her position, I would have cracked a LONG time ago.

The Hilton family is a lot richer than the haters would have us believe.
Her grandfather’s wealth is 18 Billion dollars.
That’s BILLIONS, not millions, one Billion equals 1000 million dollars. Plus, Paris and her father also make their own millions in addition to the Hilton wealth.
I’d say Paris will be in the news for a long time to come, whether she chooses to work or not.

I’m not saying i hate paris cuz i LOVE HER! she’s the best celeb ever and she relle deserves to be. She just has alot of haters out there, but they don’t know anything and are just jealous.
