Speaking of this year’s MTV VMA host, Russell Brand, Paris said “I think he’s really good, really funny. “I’ve met him before in London and he’s really nice. He’s done an incredible job.”
Paris also said she was excited to give the award for Best Pop Video to pal Britney Spears.
“She looked beautiful and lovely,” said Paris backstage during the awards show at Paramount Studios Los Angeles. “She was wearing a lovely dress. I just said to her, ‘I love you and I miss you.’”
Paris, who revealed she is currently working on a new album, said was planning to chill out after the awards at Los Angeles hotel The Chateau Marmont, where her rocker boyfriend Benji Madden was performing.
But she denied that she and Benji are engaged, saying “We’re just boyfriend and girlfriend.”
