Paris Leaving Court Looking Upset

Hilton, 26, who, with her parents Kathy and Rick Hilton, was present in the Los Angeles Metropolitan courtroom, looked stunned when the sentence was handed down. Her mother gasped.

“I’m shocked and disappointed at the sentence by the judge,” the hotel heiress’s attorney, Howard Weitzman, said afterwards. “To sentence Paris Hilton to jail is uncalled for, inappropriate and ludicrous. She was singled out for who she is. She’s been selectively targeted. Paris was honest in her testimony. We plan to appeal. Shame on the system.”

After she received her sentence and most people had cleared the courtroom, Hilton cried. Moments later, her enraged mother shouted at the prosecutors, “You’re pathetic,” and asked sarcastically, “Can I have your autograph?”

Judge Sauer ordered Hilton to report to jail no later than June 5.

A lot of people are giving Kathy Hilton a lot of flak for her comments. However, she’s just like any mother…she cares deeply for her daughter, and whatever troubles that befall her daughter affect her as well.

In my eyes, she’s just acting like how any other mother would act.

  3. christine says:

i don’t know that does sound a lil immature on kathy’s part, i mean it doesn’t make the situation look any better

  4. Shannon Bartlett says:

Justice has been served, as it should be. Anyone else who has broken the law is sentenced in the same fashion. Paris’ behavior over the past few years has been appalling and her mother’s behavior in court tells me that Paris comes by her attitude honestly. Simply because she is wealthy,a party girl and the daughter of a highly successful and influential man, it does not mean that she is above the law and deserving of breaks. It’s not a waste of taxpayer’s money; it’s simply a sign that “The Parisite” needs to grow up. She doesn’t have a lot of respect; in fact, she’s a pathetic joke; a side show for observers of the celebrity set.

  5. Juicy says:

It seems like there are twice as many posts today. Like all the haters gathered on this site just for this occasion.

  6. retrograde says:

Seriously, Juicy. If you don’t like Paris, then get the hell off her fansites. Poor Paris, she’d better win on appeals. I really do not believe she did anything wrong or that justice was served. For anyone – rich or not – no wrongdoing was done, and 45 days is obscene. 5 days would be wwwwaaaayyy more appropriate for a first-timer, IMVHO. And as for Kathy, she acted as any mother would. If your daughter received an unfair sentence because of some stupid, bitchy prosecutors, you’d be fuming too.

  7. Nancy says:

I fully support the judges decision. This decision may save the lives of many of our youth and perhaps Paris’ as well. (I’m appalled to think a loving mother would mock this decision). I truly believe this decision will teach our young that this type of behaviour is unacceptable regardless of your financial status or class!

  8. Robaire says:

Well I hope all you jealous Paris haters are satisfied. Your problem is you still don’t get it. Paris is at a whole different level than any of you.
NEWS ALERT: Justice will prevail and Paris will not serve a single day in jail. You still have a few weeks to celebrate a superiors’ misfortune so enjoy and then return to your small insignificant lives.

  9. Blake says:

Paris is my favorite! I think the judge is crazy she is so prefect she would never do anyhting wrong! brw i love your daddys hotel! also paris is perfect and the judege is jealous cuz his hair is gray and hers is blonde.

  10. Blake says:

Paris is the best dont put her in jail!!!! she is perfect!!!!!

  11. Juicy says:

I am NOT a Paris hater. I do however, hate the majority of her fans. I am sad that Paris is going to jail but she deserves it.

  12. Juicy says:

If I was a Paris hater I’d just ignore her completely. I wouldn’t bother going on her fansites just to put her down. I think people who do that are pathetic. I was just commenting on the fact that usually when I check this site and there is Paris news it’s usually just like 7 people. But today and yeesterday it’s been like in the 30s and most of them (the people that are coming on) to me don’t sound like they like Paris.

  13. Doreen says:

the world without paris is going to be soooo slow! I feel truly sorry for her

  14. A.J. says:

i feel really bad for her.. i’m a very loyal fans of her but… i guess, no one is perfect, Paris maigyt did something wrong, and maybe she deserved it.. maybe it make her learn more about responsibility and stuufs.. but.. it’s ****** 45 days hod domn it!!
    give her 10 days!!!

why can’t she do some social work lke Naomi did??

i really really fell bad about her..

and all those people who hate paris and said that her fans was silly or stupid or somthing, GET A LIFE!! hating people never makes you looks any better!!

i’m her fans and i not SILLY!! FUG YOU HATERS!!

    LOVE YOU PARIS!!

  15. ben says:

what do you mean she did nothing wrong? she drove drunk and then violated her parole by driving without a license. isnt that wrong?

  16. ben says:

if one of us did the same thing we would be going to jail to, so why shouldnt paris go to jail.

  17. Lea says:

Those of you who refuse to admit that she did anything wrong are deluded. Its sad, really. I’m not jealous of Paris – I’m sad for her, because with Kathy Hilton’s parenting skills (if you even want to call it that), she never really had a shot. This is what happens when you think you live above the law. Retrograde, it wouldn’t be an appropriate punishment if it was her first time – but this is NOT her first time. The first time was her DUI, which resulted in probation – the same deal every average, white middle class woman would receive. Problem is, Paris violated her probation not once, not twice, but three times; twice for driving without her license, and once again in failing to enroll in her alcohol education classes. This is a girl that has countless resources at her fingertips, she could have easily hired a driver that could take her to Koi and Hyde and her alcohol education meetings.

But she didn’t. So she’s getting the same punishment anyone else would get, if they, like Paris, were arrogant enough to think they lived above the law.

    Looks like justice to me.

  18. ben says:

lea I agree with you. Paris did violate her probation 3 times, if a common perosn did the same thing they would go to jail for 45 days to. celebs shouldnt be treated any different.

  19. Kelly says:

Paris was given that sentence because she is “Paris Hilton”, the police were after her. It would just be a fine for anyone else. I love Paris and she is in my prayers. Paris, u’ll see the end of this long winding road somehow. We Paris fans will do anything to save u. You don’t deserve to go to jail at all. You are in this because of who you are. I love u!!! Be strong!!!

  20. Lea says:

Kelly, it wouldn’t have just been a fine for anyone else. You clearly know nothing about the justice system.

  21. me says:

kelly sorry but you are wrong. it wouldnt have been fine. anyone wouldve got the same sentence. if you can prove otherwise please do.

  22. me says:

I mean kelly and anyone else who thinks paris doesnt deserve this , if you did what paris did, you would be going to jail for 45 days to. thats the law, as lea said paris violated her probation 3 times.

  23. paris deserves it says:

maybe if she didnt wanna go to jail she shouldnt have violated her probaition 3 times and she shouldve shown up for her alcohol counsling classes. if you or me did what paris did we would go to jail for 45 days to.

  24. ben says:

OKAY to whoever says paris did nothing wrong, well what do you call driving drunk, and violating your probation 3 times. are you people actully saying driving drunk is not wrong, are you saying violating your probation is not wrong? im glad there are people like lea here and the others who are actully smart enough to know paris broke the law. tell me paris fans, why in the hell shouldnt she go to jail? she violated her probaiton, which in the REAL WORLD, not PARIS WORLD, means you go to jail. its called the law

  25. christine says:

what i wanna know is, how come naomi campbell only got community service when she actually assaulted people, which is far worse than a dui or driving without a license, how come that psycho is free to walk the streets, i mean seriously, who goes around throwing cell phones at people???? if paris is going to jail, then naomi should definately be locked up, cuz she DID injure people on more than one occassion…now u have to admit, THAT is unfair!!!

  26. retrograde says:

Yeah. What Paris “did” pales in comparison to the horrendous deeds committed by so many others (stars and nonstars) who get away with their deeds. 45 days is completely outrageous. Paris is a not a threat to society, and she didn’t do anything wrong, IMO. She did not violate her probation as far as I’m concerned. She should fire her reps tho as this is their fault. Her family will fight this ruling tooth and nail, I’m sure. I hope she wins. But if she doesn’t, oh well. Martha Stewart did a year(?) in jail and she’s more popular than ever now by what I hear.

  27. christine says:

    martha stewart, haha, i can’t stand that ****, i hear she’s a real *****, haha

  28. Kyle says:

Ok. Fist of all, I thought this was a Paris FAN site, not a Paris hater site. And Secondly, I do know the justice system, and what that judge did ain’t right. You all know damn well that if she was some other celebrity, like Michael Jackson, she would have gotten off. The plain and simple fact is that there are more people that hate Paris than there are people that like her. That is why she got this sentence, because the judge doesn’t like her either. I don’t give a damn what anyone says she was singled out because she is Paris Hilton, and that’s it. This sentence is bullshit, it was way too harsh, and I support Paris all the way.

P.S. All Paris haters can go to hell!

  29. Lea says:

No, you really don’t know anything about the justice system if you think she was singled out. Paris HAD her fair shot; she was given PROBATION for her DUI. She was given the light sentence that most of you rabid, obsessed fans think she now deserves. She HAD that chance, and she blew it in just about every way possible. She violated her probation ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, and now her probation has been revoked and she’s going to jail. That’s how it works, whether you’re Paris Hilton or Joe Schmo.

  30. mars says:

First of all, I’m not a Paris hater. I think the wild antics she gets herself into is quite entertaining. But love her or hate her, Lea is right.
The punishment fits the crime especially after so many chances.
Anyone who disagrees, need to consider the fact that she had previously been caught under the influence of alcohol, which in itself is one of the leading killers on our roads. Now I’m not saying that she is a bad driver or has poor judgment, but as is everybody else, she is only human and is only capable of so much whilst affected by alcohol. She put herself and those around her in danger. It could have been worse, but luckily it wasn’t.
And having that been said, she broke the law again…..and again….
So is the 45 days the wake up call Paris needs to put things into perspective?

  31. Kyle says:

That is bullshit. She would not have gotten 45 days if she was someone else and nothing you say will change my mind. But it doesn’t matter what I think because she’s going to do the 45 days anyhow. There’s no way she could possibly get out of it because obviously nobody likes her enough to help her.

  32. Lea says:

Kyle, you’re deluded. “No one likes her enough to help her” Are you serious? This isn’t a game, this isn’t US Weekly, this isn’t a fashion show or a popularity contest or a talk show where saying “I’m sorry” and crying gets you off the hook. PARIS HAD HER CHANCE. ALL SHE HAD TO DO WAS PAY A DRIVER, GO TO SOME ALCOHOL EDUCATION CLASSES ONCE A WEEK, AND STAY OUT OF LEGAL TROUBLE. That’s all she had to do, and none of this would have happened. She made a choice. She can blame her handlers and Elliot, but the fact of the matter is, she’s 26 years old and calls herself a business woman. If she wants to be seen as a business woman, she might want to take care of her own personal business, rather than pointing the finger because she didn’t read the papers she signed. And why on earth was she asking questions regarding legal matters to her PUBLICIST anyhow? Those are the questions you ask your LEGAL REPRESENTATION.

Either Paris is a complete idiot, or she just didn’t care because “I’m Paris Hilton, I Do What I Want”
