Paris Hilton is “really scared” by the prospect of her impending jail sentence – but has thanked her supporters for “keeping her strong”. The law-breaking socialite, 26, was sentenced to 45 days behind bars earlier this month, after violating the terms of her 2006 drink-driving arrest – but will now serve a minimum of 23 days in jail, according to the LA Sheriff’s Department. And although she’s not looking forward to a jail term, she insists the support of friends and family has kept her spirits up. She says, “I’m really scared right now, but I’m trying to stay strong. “I’ve been concentrating hard on keeping busy with workouts and my family. I’m doing OK. All the support I have had from people has really helped.” The star was keen to point out she has been behaving herself since her punishment was announced: “I haven’t been going out. I’m being a good girl.” Hilton is currently appealing her jail sentence, which she must begin serving on 5 June.

She’s scared!! What about the innocent people on the streets and sidewalks when she was driving under the influence? She is a total disgrace to the human race. I feel she should be treated just like anyone else who was arrested and charged with DUI. DO THE CRIME, SERVE YOUR TIME!! Jail is supposed to be no frills. Suck it up and grow up.
While I agree with Paris doing her time, I’m not going to be as cruel as the first two people. I understand why someone in her situation would be afraid. Think of it as a break from the Paparizzi and a quiet time to get your act together.
I find it ridiculous that Paris is getting her ‘jail’ time cut in half! Why even call it jail? She’s going to be sent to a ‘home’. Yah, and ‘being good and not going out’ does not make you a better person, Paris! Grow up! They should throw your parents and reps in jail!
I’m am so sick and tired of hearing about how scared Paris is about her jail time. I’m also sick and tired of seeing all the pictures lately of her “being good”… going to church, PLEASE, has she ever been snapped going to church before? NO, she only went because she seriously things people are going to forget about the past, forget that she’s a *****, forget that she talks **** about everyone. And taking a collage to her dad, who is “supposedly sick”, did she actually make that, probably not! WHATEVER, I’m just sick and tired of her, and her stupid family. Hey Jo, slow down there man!! Step back and take a good look, it’s a few days in a light offenders. She’ll be fine, 6 months and she won’t even remember.
Oh give me a break here. I think she should stop “emoting” so much about this and just shut up and do her time. She is scared..but obviously, not enough to stop doing all the stuff that got her in trouble in the first place. All these celebrities need to grow up and start accepting that their actions have consequences..just like ordinary people. Just because you have money and are a celebrity does NOT entitle you to break the laws of your state or your country! If it was someone who wasn’t a celebrity they would have to just do the time…they wouldn’t be able to try and influence the courts and the public to win getting out of it. I laugh myself silly over her inane comments that everyone is jealous of her…for what? I am a far better person, a single mom who raised a terrific handsome son who already has his associates degree and his bachelor’s degree and I did it all alone..and I am happy with my life and myself. Jealous? Of what? A loser celebrity whose only claim to fame is her money and how many people she sleeps with? Give me a break! Stop whining..grow up, quite “posing” in prayer etc. and accept the consequences of what you did. Getting out of ANY part of your FULL sentence will only make me disrespectful of the California court system and you..and if the governor pardons you for this offense..HE deserves to serve your sentence himself. And..if the jails are “too full” ..then let someone ELSE out and make her serve her full time..God knows it isn’t all that big a sentence in the first place!
I also think that these celebrities going “commando” and showing their private intimate parts in public should be ARRESTED FOR INDECENT EXPOSURE..especially when it ends up plastered all over the magazines on news stands for children to see going through the checkout counters…strategically placed stars and stripes aside….the issue is…they exposed themselves PUBLICLY!!!!!!!!!
Well, when I was 13 I was also really scared. I stole a book form a school mate and the teacher called my parents. When I got home my father whipped me with a cane all over by bottom and legs with me naked in my bedroom, the door locked. I swore I’d never steal again. And I didn’t. Earlier on I did’nt do my homework and I got more thana dozen hard pops on my palms. I never did that again. Want to bet with me that Paris will NEVER DRINK and DRIVE again and WILL NEVER DISOBEY A JUDGE? My guess is that she was poorly educated and I strongly suspect that she was never spanked for disobeying.
