Dear Ms.P.Hilton,
the story about Your “crime” in LA. is just the typical American way of “fairness” and is absolutely not in relation to what You have done…
I invite You to a “Antistress-week” in good old Switzerland!

okay I dont like paris at all. but I think community service wouldve been a better sentnece. Paris would hate doing all that work so it would teach her a lesson not to drive drunk and violate her parole. now they are saying she wont get the full sentence anyway. this wont teach her a lesson at all, but community service would

DUI is a serious crime. De the do the crime do the time. Grow Up and take the punishment. Rich Bitche$ deserve the same as everyone else. If is the first time getting caught than it’s the 100th time she’s done it. Next time she could kill someone. Let her use her millions to hire a driver for her drunken a$$.

I wish there were more new pictures of Paris shopping or something. All the pictures of her with her lawyers are super boring. When are people going to stop talking about her going to jail??

I wish this msg would some how get to paris; Iam sick about her view that she should not recive the sentance she has been handed money nor being a beautiful face put her beyond the community nor the law, due to her attitude on her case her physical beauity has transformed to one I find ugly as I now see she has no honor, respect for herself nor others. I feel sorry for paris my children will never have the oppurtunitys that she has yet my children have a strenght and respect for them selfs and others. It is true that money cant buy every thing, like diginity, respect, self worth. I am a mother whom takes care of all whom are in my path, I feel ashamed for paris and her family because they can not love deeply enough to tell her she is wrong they can not show her how to have honor.

Much of the bad press Paris Hilton gets is because reporters are envious,so they word artcles in ways which are designed to inflame. Or they write half-truths. Or they plain make things up.
And the general public believes this crap because if it’s in the papers it must be the truth, right? Riiiiight.

Look at it this way. What if Paris hit a family member during her DUI and killed them. Would you still love the socialite. Would you still support her not going to jail? That is the problem with society. Just because your young rich and famous the rules don’t apply to them. In the eyes of the law everyone is equal (thank god for that). She does deserve the time if not jail house arrest. But a slap on the wrist will just encourage others to do the same. AND in this case the press is tellin it like it is. And when you sign the petition they want you to donate a min of $2. Give me a break. Paris should donate the $2 to thank them for signing not thank you now pay up.
THAT’S NOT HOT.

I have tried send message to American senators, but it seems only American can be allowed to send message to them.

I hope all the American people who support Paris Hilton try your best to send email to senators, ask them help Paris Hilton!

Paris Hilton is selected, the police treat her often very badly, she is innocent!
Her driver license has been reinstated in March, but the court try to hide this fact! She just make some mistake on the time limit! She is the victim of American absurd Law System. We should help her!

We should use our political power to free paris. We only have until 06/05 so there is no time to waste. Nevertheless this is my position on the whole thing.

I don’t want Paris going to jail because jails are places where people really hurt each other. It is apart of what makes it hard time as oposed to vacation time. The judge does not sentence one to beaten and raped, but he does sentence the person to a place where the likelihood of the a rape or a beating is high due to the opportunities that prisoners are given by the prison itself to do this. Driving through a stop light is an opportunity to stop or keep driving. Prisoners are often faced with opportunities to: gang rape a fellow prisoner while one posts as a look out; or function with a civic nature and avoid such behavoir. Yet prisoners are not exactly the best examples of civic nature and all of this is foreseeable to the courts. Two prisoners to a cell; if one is willing to abuse the other, the opportunity is provided by the fact that both are in the locked cell together. The abuser has a victim that can’t escape. Community bathing, another opportunity to conduct criminal behavoir. 6 can attack one; no need to undress the victim he/she’s already undressed, and platform is provided by the very nature of the public bathing facility. Our entire prison system is filled with opportunities to conduct criminal activity; however, private bathing would end that. Private cells would end that. A simple partician would provide the privacy/security. Avoiding the event of strategically unlocking the cell doors of persons scheduled to be murdered or to commit murder and etc. These would end or reduce prisoners attacking other prisoners, but it would even address the abuses committed by guards.

Yet you say, the jail in question is not max security… does not matter. Rapes and violence still take place even in the minimal security jails. We are responsible for all of these crimes because we are providing the setting, the opportunity, and it is all very foreseeable. We say that the Romans were wrong for torturing their prisoners, but our democracy does the same, the only difference is we don’t articulate the tortures in our sentencing. We are articulate the time in the room, but not the foreseeable activity. We simply put the person in a room where we have reason to believe these things may or will happen. If a man takes a girl to his house and puts that girl in a room where he has reason to believe that that woman may or will be raped or beaten we hold that man responsible for it (criminal negligence at least); yet our courts do this to people with every stroke of the sentencing gavel. None of the activities done to a prisoner by other prisoners and or guards are articulated in the sentencing, but they are more than foreseeable, and like Abugarib, this is what your tax dollars sponsor.

So why spare Paris from this subtle scenario? Paris is a icon to many young girls that happen to be related to a lot of us. In the interest of public policy, the icon behind bars is not the image we want them to consider. A pardon for Paris’s traffic violation, tells our sisters and daughters we don’t want you to break traffic laws, but we also don’t want you think of jail as a destination. A monetary fine, would have been more reasonable, and more typical of the many suspended license cases I have seen.

We love Paris! This is not justice, this is a show, an arena, the running man in real life, a game for the pleasure of someone, but justice is not that someone.

PARDON PARIS!!!

Pardon Paris in light of the fact that the sentence does not consider the benefit and serious nature of a monetary fine.

The sentence should have been a fine since that is a more likely response to suspended license traffic violation.

my first comment had a few grammar errors but the bottom line is free PARIS we all love her and don’t want her in jail, not even for half of the 45 days.

i wish everyone would STOP saying how sad they are for paris going to jail, its pathetic. It was her own fault for being so careless driving drunk, like come on people its not like she only did it once or twice, she was probably doing it ALL the time thinking it was okay not giving a shit because shes famous and rich.
My aunty was killed in a car accident by a guy that was drunk behind the wheel, she left behind 3 kids, a husband, mum, dad and every1 who loved her.. wat if paris killed someone driving drunk?? u idiots wouldnt LOVE her then would u?? didnt think so, pull your fucking heads in guys and STOP giving her praise and all the other bullshit and start thinking of the reason why shes going to jail… i bet if it was one of your own family killed by paris you wouldnt be saying how sorry u feel for her going to jail for 45 days.. i think shes gotton off lightly, shes got luxuries in there and thats WRONG!!! were all human beings, if that was me or you we wouldnt get the luxuries shes getting,
DO THE CRIME, DO THE TIME BITCH!!!

Don’t call this is justice! This is not justice! This is persecution!

justice means equal, everyone should be equal! no better, no worse!

But in this case, the court try to hide the fact that her driver license have already reinstated in March, and order her must serve in a appointed prison. they don’t let her select any other prison like other persons. They are treating her very specially.

She should get penalty, but she is treated more worse than other offenders!

They are trying murder her! Under the name of the law, they are trying murder her!
