On Nicole:
Musto: Jealousy is a pained response to a friend who sold out and gravely disappointed her. Just guessing- initials N.R.?
“No comment,” Paris uncomfortably evaded. “It’s a song about any girl. Any girl has a girlfriend that’s jealous of you. It’s the meanest, most evil thing that can take over you.”
Musto: What’s it like to have her costar and her best friend become her worst nightmare?
“I hate talking about it,” she said, looking agonized. “It makes me sad because Nicole was like my sister. I brought her on the show and all of a sudden she became this different person. She dropped all her old friends and now she’s someone else. That’s not the girl I know. That’s similar to one of the lyrics in Jealousy [the song Paris wrote].”
Musto: But you’d told me it wasn’t.
“Well, it is,” she admitted, unapologetically.
Musto: Will Nicole record an answer song called ‘Bitch, Who Do You Think You Are?”
Paris rolled her flawlessly made-up eyes. “She [Nicole] can’t even get a record deal,” she deadpanned.
On her Music:
Most of the songs are breezy, shinily produced dance numbers about quintessential Paris topics like partying, making out, and being H-O-T (”As I dance on the table top/Tonight I’ll be your liquid dream,” coos one lyric). Throw in a faithful cover of Rod Stewart’s “Do You Think I’m Sexy?” plus a sweet ballad (”Heartbeat”), and Avril Lavigne - type angst number (”Screwed”), and some obligatory rap cameos
Paris: “I always knew I could sing,” she told me, first thing. “Me, [my sister] Nikki, and Nicole [Richie] would sing karaoke in the house to Tina Turner, Madonna, and Paula Abdul, but I was always very shy about getting up in public. But now I’ve grown as a person and an artist, and this is what I’m meant to do. Once you hear the music, you cant knock it. I go to clubs and I play it and don’t tell anyone its me. If everyone knew “This is Paris Hilton,” they’d stop and judge.”
Musto: Does she play her own music for herself all day?
“Yes!” she admitted. “I drive around in the car and listen to it- that and Madonna and James Blunt and Jack Johnson.”
On the Gays:
Musto: Are you a fag hag?
“Yeah,” Paris replied happily. “Gay guys are more fun and they dress better and they’re usually hotter. All the hot ones are gay.”
On The Simple Life:
The Simple Life, which, in its fourth season, has moved from Fox to E! (Fox didn’t think the show was gonna work because we’re not friends,” Paris informed me. ” But I think it’ll be great TV. You can get away with more.” Then she added, “Actually, I’m worried about that.”)
On House of Wax:
“I only did that movie because Joel Silver is an incredible producer,”
Musto: Did she expect an Oscar nomination for it wink, wink?
“There wasn’t much to the character except making out, so no. But I thought it was cool when my head was chopped off. I thought I had the coolest death in the movie.”
And the girl who supposedly does nothing also has a crystal plate full of other projects in the works: a proposed character on Family Guy, an animated show of her own, a superhero movie, a romantic comedy called The Hottie and the Nottie (guess which one she plays), and a follow-up album already being written.
On Paris:
“The person I read about in all these columns I don’t even know,” she moaned. “There are so many evil people out there. They make up lies. I don’t even read it all anymore. It hurts my feelings. And I’m not going to spend millions of dollars a year suing everybody. I don’t have time for that.”

What kind of magazin is this? UK or US?
Paris Hilton is so incredibly shameless. As of today, I have only hear nothing BUT her critizing Nicole Richie. I think She is the “ONE” who got issues. She seems to have hard time keeping a relationship. I am sure a lot of people would agree with me. Paris is a very shallow individual. Her only “TALENT”? SHOPPING?
Heather this is a Paris Hilton “fan” site - in other words, we like her, so if you don’t, don’t come here!!! If you knew anything about Paris you’d know she hardly EVER speaks openly about Nicole Richie, all I have heard her say is that she worries for her old friends’ health since she’s so thin, and that she’s sad because they were like sisters and now Nicole has totally changed. I think that’s hardly criticizing - compared to what I would do if my best friend used me to get onto a show for publicity and then dropped me and wrote a book telling lies about me. Nicole so blatantly referred to Paris. Paris doesn’t have a hard time keeping a relationship, I think she just goes for the’bad boy’ type of guy, she would have married Latsis if his family didn’t get so involved. So NO WE DON”T AGREE WITH YOU, Paris is not shallow at all, she is extremely talented. Can you say that you are as naturally beautiful, classy and impeccably stylish, as well as have movies, modelling, fashion designing, jewellery and fragrance line, author, TV show and record deal under your belt? What some people don’t realise is that Paris is one of the smartest business woman out there, sure she was ‘famous for being famous’ but she has used it to become her own brand, like David Beckham. I’ll defend her to the very end, seeing as I’ve met her too, she’s one of the nicest most beautiful and talented people out there. Oh any by the way - yes being a millionaire does include shopping so don’t be jealous

Paris Hilton polarizes people, they either love her or hate her.
I’ve read some of the comments people make on blogs about her, and it borders on the insane. But their hatred and pure envy says more about them than it says about Paris.
I think Paris Hilton is a very sweet girl who got a very raw deal because she was too trusting when she was 19. It took real courage for her to hold her head up and go on,and it still does.
I hope the right guy comes along who seriously appreciates her.
Well HEATHER at least I can spell hey so I must have an education unlike you who clearly is unwelcome here; why come to a Paris fan site if you don’t like her? And Paris doesn’t just have me as a fan, she actually has lots of fans, why else would she be doing so well and selling out her jewellery, books, bags, etc? Why else is she on so many magazine covers and one of the most photographed celebrities out there? Because people like her and are interested in her life. Sure some people don’t like her, like you, who are jealous of her success, fame and looks, and you’re welcome to your opinion, but don’t come onto a Paris fan site and call me or Paris an idiot when you can’t even get your grammar right! Oh - and speaking about dogs, have you looked in the mirror lately?? HAHA
