American heiress and celebrity Paris Hilton launched her perfume line in Japan on Tuesday (April 19) at an event held at a trendy night club.

As lights flashed and smoke swirled, Hilton appeared and posed for cameras and special guests to the launch of “Sheer” a fragrance only for Japan.

When asked by a Japanese actor who was MCing the event what how Japanese women could become like her, Hilton said it was important to be happy with oneself.

“To be attractive, you just have to know who you are and be happy with yourself no matter what you look like because everyone is beautiful,” she said.

Her perfume, which will be priced at 5,775 yen (52 U.S. dollars), would help, she added.

“You’ll smell like me,” she said. “You’ll be happy like me.”

Hilton said her trip was very brief and she had not had much time to go shopping.

“I’ve been working so much, so I only had like 20 minutes to store and bought all these cameras, CD players, TV stuff, electronic stuff,” she said.

“Sheer” will go on sale at select stores throughout the country on May 19.
