Socialite PARIS HILTON’s controversial new TV commercial for fast food chain CARL’S JR is giving punk star ELENI MANDELL’s cover of COLE PORTER classic I LOVE PARIS a second crack at the US charts.

In the ad, Hilton gets lathered up while washing a car and eating a Carl’s Jr burger while Mandell’s version of I Love Paris plays in the background.

And, due to the success of the promo, Mandell is re-releasing the track as an iTUNES download.

The singer loves the exposure the ad has given her and has no qualms about Hilton’s scantily-clad appearance in it.

She says, “Advertising is suggestive. Isn’t that the idea?”
