Even Paris Hilton draws the line sometimes. While filming a scene in a hospital delivery room for the fourth season of The Simple Life, the hotel heiress was asked to cut a baby’s umbilical cord – but she refused. “I was like, ‘I’ll throw up if I do that – that’s disgusting,’ ” she tells us. “I was having a panic attack.” She was a lot more comfortable playing party planner for a lesbian wedding. “It was awesome – they came down the aisle on white horses. They had tuxes with corsets underneath them.”

Hilton tackled all of her tasks for the new season solo: She and former BFF Nicole Richie hardly cross paths in the show (which airs in June). So, does she miss anything about her onetime pal? “Nothing, really,” she says. And though The Simple Life will offer a peek into Hilton’s personal life this time around, don’t expect appearances from her boyfriend, Stavros Niarchos. “He hates being on camera – he’s a very low-key guy.” Opposites do attract.
