Paris and Benji have split up according to People.com 
The pair split a few days ago after more than nine months of dating, a source close to Hilton tells PEOPLE.
“She is saddened by the breakup but they’re just too different and they wanted different things in life,” says a source close to Hilton. “He was loyal and sweet but it was time to take a break.”
Reps for both Hilton and Madden could not be reached for comment.

I hate to say it but me and several others have told you so. Uhh…guess I don’t have to be in Paris rehab anymore. The girl I love probably thinks I’m a weirdo anyways.
I agree that they were a bit of an odd match, but they really seemed happy together.
I think it’s really sad.

Anyways, I feel so bad for Paris
To me they never seemed happy they just made “happy statements” to the press. So many pics of them looking pissed off. No matter what paris says she LOVES to go out, drink, dance and hookup with guys.That’s her life. No crime there, it’s just that she’s almost 30 so it would seem to get old and boring but that’s what she lives for. Paris seems destined to lead a life with lots of parties and many guys, but I think that’s what she likes so I hope she has fun with it.
Does anyone passed puberty believe that her and Stavros just coincidentally met up thousands of miles from where they both live just as Paris broke up, or was about to break up, with her alleged bf? I mean all those times Paris was in NY and supposedly not with Stavros, but now, as she breaks up with Benji, her and Stavros get cozy in public.
prediction: Paris and Stavros will just be friends who bump into each other over the next week or two (give people a little time to forget about Benji and the whole Miami thing) Then they’ll be back together, have a volatile relationship, cheat on each other and then break up in 2-4 months. give it some time and then repeat.
Doesn’t seem like the best life in the world but we all need to do what makes us happy.

First of all I never said I was happy. Second of all, the relationship always seemed fake or atleast somewhat staged to me.
I’m never happy. I will only be happy when someone says with honesty that they love me, but that will never happen. My only love, Stacie, will never love me, most likely.
I don’t freak out over Paris news anymore, but a part of me gets all freaked out when she’s mentioned on the news.

i feel dumb for believing all those “we are so happy” comments.
What’s there to feel dumb about? Those comments I can almost guarantee were true at the time. We all date more than one person usually. So what does that mean? You’ll fall in love, be making comments about how you’re so happy, etc. And then for whatever reason it doesn’t work out til you find your soul mate. It doesn’t mean they were lying all along, being fake, etc. I think they did and still do love each other. It’s just other factors got into the way unfortunately which can happen sometimes.

This is sooo sudden and shocking if true. I’m still waiting to hear it from Paris herself. It feels like it could still be a rumor to me. Why would they just break up? Maybe they’re just taking a break? They seemed so in love – I really believe they were happy. This makes me sad

what dumpshelley wrote is actually facts, you guys just sometimes refuse to see it. Paris has always said that her current boyfriend is the love of her life and how she doesn’t wanna party anymore. yet when the relationship ends, she’s seen at clubs again. the relationship seemed fake to me as well, they never seemed to be that crazy for each other, yet paris felt the need to be repeating it constantly. the pictures do tell the story, if you know what to look for.

Love is a difficult thing. Even when you love each other a lot, some things in life like “we wanted different things”, like Paris said, can even give true relationships a hard time. Its not all that easy. Im totally sure that they still love each other and you can see that bcuz Paris is heartbroken by it. I hope there´ll be a reunion soon, sometimes you just need some time off to think! they werent the first couple that broke up bcuz of differences, and they wouldnt be the last that come back together. but I dont know, maybe that the end, maybe its not? time will tell!

I guess Paris didn’t really “change”, she just under his control. Plus that was the reason his ex sophie monk broke up with him.
I never saw Benji as a controlling person. It’s strange how you can have a certain image of someone and then it seems to be untrue. Maybe that’s why do look so sad in those pictures a week ago. (where she wears a green dress)

Wow, didn’t think I wrote anything bad at all. I didn’t condemn her for anything and wrote that I hope she’s happy doing whatever. She does like clubs and likes hooking up. pretty simple.
She may stay with one guy for a few months, but then she gets “bored” or was “too busy” and moves on. She also always hits the clubs. I mean she filmed London BFF going out every night w/ some cool pics going up on this site. She just got back from Miami where she was out at clubs and parties with her BFFs and Stavros, comes home, and hits the bars 3 nights in a row. This is while her relationship must have been in trouble and after breaking up with Benji. So, the clubs are clearly her comfort zone, way of life, or whatever. Ok. Even though I just think for age 28 or however old she is that I might want something else, that doesn’t make her wrong for what she does and likes and I really hope she’s happy. I don’t see anything wrong with that.
Moving on, please let Shelly be the next to get cut.
Also, relationships never last long anyways. A couple, especially a celebrity couple, might be together for a year, or two, or more, before they break up. The days of people celebrating their 40th anniversary or something is almost gone. Now, relationships change like a pair of jeans.
I’m not saying it’s a bad thing, necessarily. It means that relationships that are long-standing don’t happen very often.
I think that people should probably not try and analyze breakups so much…it would make things much easier.
Not that anyone on here will care (b/c it seems most think they broke up b/c Paris is NOTHING more but a no good, worthless partying **** who could NEVER have a relationship) but they broke up b/c he was WAY too jealous and controlling. That’s exactly why his previous ex, Sophie Monk, broke up with him as well. He was wanting to change her way too much. You should love a person for how they are and NOT try to change ‘em. Until he can quit doing that with women he’s going to keep having relationship issues I think.

Appearing at parties and advertising is business for Paris, so we can be sure she will honor her contracts.
She gets paid for her appearances, or she is involved in a particular business when she shows up. She has stated so repeatedly.
Paris also does not “hook up” willy nilly .
Such things are only in the imagination of trashy websites and tabloids who try to bring her down a notch because of envy, and ini the minds of the losers who read it and believe it.
Hmm…Now I guess I take back what I said before. There’s an article up on Usmagazine about P&B where she phoned into KIIS FM today. Anywho she completely denied Benji was ever controlling. Said they were just on a break and would see what the future brought. Said she hates whomever is spreading the awful rumors and it’s obvious it’s someone she needs to have out of her life. Said the main reason for the breakup is just b/c they were both so super busy with so many different projects. You can read the article on their site.
This is so sad =( They seemed so happy together, and I loved that they weren’t the cliche normal celebrity couple. I thought they were adorable together, and I wish Paris & Benji the best!
