Paris Hilton has made a statement about her disagreements with Nicole Richie.

Although she has not revealed the reasons for the rift between herself and her Simple Life co-star, her friends suggest that Richie started a whispering campaign against her.

A statement from Hilton ran: “Its no big secret that Nicole and I are no longer friends. I will not go into the details of what happened. All I will say is that Nicole knows what she did and that’s all I am ever going to say about it.”

Richie is apparently being blamed for an embarrassing incident at Nicky Hilton’s home when she tried to show a group of friends a video of her sister hosting Saturday Night Live, only to find that it was her sister’s famed sex tape, reports the New York Daily News.

I’m not so sure about the whole sex tape thing…I think it would take something a lot more serious to ruin their friendship! But it’s just a rumour anyway. Let’s hope Paris and Nicole work it out.
