Paris Hilton’s aunt has revealed how the spoiled socialite was bullied as a child.

Kyle Richards — the sister of Kathy Hilton — has had a close relationship with her niece since she was young.

And she is now lifting the lid on the spoiled socialite’s childhood admitting she was picked on.

“There was jealousy and being picked on and I had to go down there a few times and straighten some people out because she was definitely picked on,” she said on an A&E biography special on Paris. “People would hear the last name and she was always a beautiful girl and that doesn’t make for making a lot of friends with girls. She always had this attitude that she didn’t care what people thought but she definitely did.”

Richards even revealed where Paris’ love of animals stemmed from.

“She had every animal you could think of as a child,” she said. “She had so many ferrets and dogs, cats, it would be nothing for her to stick a mouse in your purse and wait for reaction when you opened the purse and there was a big rat in there with a huge tail hanging out.”

THE SIMPLE LIFE star NICOLE RICHIE insists the media is reading too much into her split from former friend PARIS HILTON, and reports she staged a viewing party for her ex-pal’s infamous sex tape are not true.

Richie, daughter of soul star LIONEL RICHIE, shot three series of The Simple Life TV show alongside Hilton, but admits they grew up and grew apart.

She says, “Today, we’re no longer friends. There’s nothing that really happened, we’ve just grown apart.”

But she’s upset by claims the friendship soured after she hosted a party, at which she aired the infamous ONE NIGHT IN PARIS sex tape.

Richie says, “I would never do that. I’m sure it stirs up controversy, which I’m sure that she (Paris) loves but I really have nothing bad to say.”

Socialite PARIS HILTON has been caught up in a Los Angeles crime mystery after police showed up at her home on Thursday night (03NOV05) to serve her with a subpoena.

The cops stayed for just less than an hour and left after serving her with official documents in connection with a criminal investigation, in which she is an alleged witness.

US gossips are linking the late-night police call to bruises that have appeared on her arms and back this week.

The incident didn’t put Paris off her partying ways – once police left, she went clubbing with sister NICKY.

Paris Hilton’s rich boyfriend behaved like an utter jerk by humiliating a homeless man.

Stavros Niarchos offered the guy $100 to pour a Burger King soft drink over himself for the amusement of his friends, according to reports in Los Angeles.

The homeless man took the money, dumped the drink on himself and 20-year-old shipping heir Stavros and his mates fell about laughing.

Madonna has hit out at Paris Hilton for being a Kabbalah hanger-on.

The sexy singer, who is a devout follower of the mystical Jewish faith, claims the hotel heiress and other stars who dabble with the religion are damaging its credibility and she is sick of it.

She fumed to Britain’s Radio One: ‘People like Paris Hilton who come into a centre and buy a book or a band and that’s it for them. It doesn’t mean they study it. It’s very hard to be a believer. I’m very serious about it.’

Since Madonna, and her husband Guy Ritchie, converted to the Kabbalah, a host of stars have followed in her footsteps and became involved with the religion.

Britney Spears, who was introduced to the faith by the ‘Hung Up’ singer, Demi Moore and husband Ashton Kutcher, Victoria Beckham and Elizabeth Jagger have all been associated with the religion.

Earlier this week, Madonna defended her devotion to Kabbalah – claiming she would have sparked less controversy if she joined the Nazis.

The 47-year-old beauty says press reports of the mystical Jewish faith have left her fuming – and are based on ignorance.

She said: ‘It would be less controversial if I joined the Nazi Party.

‘It’s not hurting anybody. ‘What do you mean you study the Torah if you’re not Jewish? What do you mean you pray to God and wear sexy clothes? We don’t understand this.’ It frightens people. So they try to denigrate it or trivialise it so that it makes more sense.’

The star also revealed she gets upset when critics call the religion a ‘cult’.

She said: ‘We’re all in a cult. In this cult we’re not encouraged to ask questions. And if we do ask questions, we aren’t going to get a straight answer.

‘The world’s in the cult of celebrity. That’s the irony of it.’

Actor Christian Slater reportedly fell from a roof at a Paris Hilton’s party, held during this weekend.

Slater, 36, had climbed on the neighbour’s roof to check out some people who complained about the noise generated by the party. The actor unbalanced and fell out in the bushes. Fortunately for him, there were no injuries.

“He was not injured, not hurt, not arrested,” LAPD Sergeant Karen Leong told the Post.

The police rep also denied reports that officers used a Taser gun on him.

On May 31, 2005, Slater was arrested around 1:50 a.m. in Manhattan’s Upper East Side, near 93rd Street and Third Avenue, after a woman told police that a man had grabbed her buttocks.

She identified Slater as the man. Slater was arrested and charged with third-degree sexual abuse. The following July 14, prosecutors offered Slater a plea bargain but he refused it insisting the charges were false.

On September 19, Slater accepted a better plea bargain whereby the charges would be dropped if he stayed out of trouble for six months.

According to a report in London’s Daily Telegraph, simple life star Paris Hilton has taken a page from Madonna and Gwyneth Paltrow and recruited Welsh clothing designer Julian Macdonald to help her find a new home in London reports Radar Magazine. “She’s had enough of New York and L.A.,” Macdonald told the paper. “She’s moved around too much lately and feels that she could really settle in London. She’s especially fond of Chelsea.”
“She’s done a lot of things for press in her time, but I don’t think she’d ever leave Los Angeles,” says one Paris watcher. “If she’s telling people that, she’s probably lying. If Paris talked to the Sacramento Bee she’d tell them she was looking at condos in Sacramento if she thought she’d get a story out of it.”

After all, the Latsises and the Niarchoses, along with the Onassises, have been among Greece’s wealthiest, most powerful dynasties since the 1950s. As a result, competition between the clans runs deep.

Radar Magazine asked renowned Grecian society scholar Taki Theodoracopoulos, who declined to comment on the clans’ history, saying, “Stavros and Paris are just kids. I know the families, but I have nothing to say.” When told of Hilton’s possible move to London, however, the august gossip couldn’t resist – “They’re opening legal brothels there, so I’m sure she’ll fit right in,” he said.

Actress ELISHA CUTHBERT was stunned when the HOUSE OF WAX producers informed her PARIS HILTON would be starring in the movie as well, because she didn’t believe the hotel heiress took acting seriously.

After roles in TV drama 24 and LOVE ACTUALLY, Cuthbert is determined to be respected in Hollywood and initially believed Hilton had taken the role as PAIGE in the horror film, just for fun.

Cuthbert says, “I’m not going to sit here and go, ‘Oh my God I’m thrilled.’ Because I take what I do seriously, I care about the movies I’m in and I think you’re only as good as the people you surround yourself with.

“Then I met her and I had a lot of questions. ‘What do you like about the movie? Why are you interested in doing this?’ And she replied, ‘It’s time for me to step out and do some acting. This is what I love to do.’ And she showed up on time and did a great job.”

Sexy actress ELISHA CUTHBERT struggled to keep up with her HOUSE OF WAX co-star PARIS HILTON’s hard-drinking – despite the hotel heiress’ claims she never drinks.

THE SIMPLE LIFE reality TV star is regularly seen dancing on tables with her celebrity pals at Hollywood parties, although she has always insisted she stays away from drink and drugs.

Earlier this year (05), Hilton told British Glamour magazine, “I am not a party person. I hate clubs. People think I drink when I’m out but I just have Red Bull. I’ll just dance and have fun. I don’t do drugs.”

However, Cuthbert has contradicted Hilton’s claims, after declaring the notorious party girl proved her excellent drinking skills in Australia, when they made House Of Wax.

Cuthbert says, “We went out once or twice to go head-to-head on the shots. I can drink, I can hold my liquor, but I think she beat me.

“I like a Jack Daniel’s (whisky) which I turned Paris on to. Before she was drinking some turquoise thing. I said, ‘Girl, if you’re gonna drink, let’s do the whisky.’”

Paris Hilton’s flame with Stavros Niarchos goes on, as the two of them have been spotted together, “making out all night”, at a number of Hollywood hot-spots over the last few weeks.

According to Femalefirst, the couple crossed the line at a party, where the “heat” drove them to the loo. Not to powder their noses. And when one thinks that it has been claimed that the toilet in question was a portable one…

Her new boy-friend, Stavros Niarchos, who has previously dated Mary-Kate Olsen, is a 20-year-old Greek, even richer than Latsis, the ex, with whom Paris split up recently.

Paris’ friends were claiming that the actress Lindsay Lohan was also trying to get Stavros, but, when rumors spread, Lohan vehemently denied, declaring for Contactmusic through her representative:
“That’s 100 per cent not true. Lindsay is very good friends with Mary-Kate, and she is appalled that Paris is dating Stavros.”
