LATEST: Hotel heiress Paris Hilton has reportedly ditched Greek shipping heir Stavros Niarchos because he wanted to spend all summer partying, while she plans to promote her upcoming album.

The US socialite allegedly broke off the relationship just before leaving for Austria on Thursday, where she made a brief promotional appearance at a music festival for a reported fee of $1 million. A source tells American publication US Weekly, “Paris dumped him. He wanted Paris to spend the summer on his yacht, but she doesn’t want to party with kids on a boat. She’s going to promote her album.”

Hilton was back in the US on Monday, where she met football player Matt Leinart for lunch, sparking rumours that the two were dating. The source adds, “There’s an attraction, but they haven’t hooked up.”

You can say a lot of things about ‘Mean Girls’ star Lindsay Lohan, but one thing is certain – the girl stays busy. It is being reported that La Lohan was there to pick up the pieces for Stavros Niarchos after he was reportedly dumped by Paris Hilton.

While reports vary for the reason of the split – Life & Style magazine reports the reason is indeed Lohan.

In a report for this week’s edition the magazine details that on the night of April 24 – mere hours after Paris had left to host a concert in Austria – Stavros was sipping cocktails and dirty dancing at LA club Element with Lindsay.

Oh – the drama that is Lohan.

The Magazine continues: “Lindsay was all over Stavros,” says a bartender. “At one point, he had his hand up her skirt!” The randy couple then retired to the Hollywood Hills home of a friend, insiders tell Life & Style.

Three days later, an insider says, Stavros, 21, was spotted leaving the 19-year-old starlet’s room at the Chateau Marmont hotel. And the next night, the duo had a sleepover at the Four Seasons.

Paris’ response upon learning of Stav and Lindsay’s affair? “She’s heartbroken,” says an insider who spoke to Paris at an LA party on May 1.

Paris met up with football star and brand new Arizona Cardinal Matt Leinart, 22. “Paris met up with Mat at club SHAG last night and PDA between them was what it was all about,” an insider told Life & Style on May 2.“They would not get their hands off each other. The happy couple were inseparable that night, holding hands and kissing.

Niarchos was previously involved with Mary-Kate Olsen, whom he left for Hilton.

For her part, Hilton was previously engaged to Paris Latsis, also a Greek shipping heir.

Pop star Pink and Paris Hilton are to come face to face at the Austrian music festival, Top Of The Mountain.

Hilton is hosting the event, and will be required to introduce festival headliner Pink when she performs live on Sunday.

The pair have reportedly not seen each other since Pink took a swipe at Paris and her cronies in her song ‘Stupid Girls’.

A source told the Mirror: “It could all kick off. Pink is known for her outspoken ways and Paris isn’t one to shy from confrontation.”

Hollywood club boss BRIAN QUINTANA is planning a full-on court war with PARIS HILTON if she snubs his latest attempt to end their bitter legal battle. The Los Angeles party planner originally sent the socialite a “cease and desist” letter, which contends she was “ruining his reputation and interfering with his business relationships” last November (05). Quintana also accused Hilton of slander, claiming she had been making unfounded allegations about him to the US tabloid media. He has since won a three-year restraining order against the socialite after a Los Angeles Superior Court judge agreed Hilton was a threat to him after she made criminal threats against him. But Quintana has attempted to end the squabble by agreeing to meet with Hilton and her lawyer ELLIOT MINTZ, but no agreement was reached. The party planner has now retained a new lawyer and plans to press on with a civil suit against Hilton, claiming “slander, interference with business relationships and emotional distress and harassment”. But he’s offering her a final laurel branch – the chance to put the past behind them and join him to relaunch trendy Hollywood nightclub Teddy’s. Hilton was a regular at the hip Roosevelt Hotel club before it closed its doors last month (MAR06), amid reports of underage drinking. And Quintana, who has been approached to take charge of the club, believes it the re-opening will be a perfect opportunity for the two foes to kiss and make up. He explains, “I don’t want to drag out a lengthy legal battle. I need people to know they can trust me because I’ll be around for years. “So, for a small fee, I’m asking her to make an appearance with me (at Teddy’s).” He’ll even drop the restraining order, which prevents Hilton from coming within 25 yards (75 metres) of the party planner when they’re at the same event, and 100 yards (300 feet) at all other times. If “stubborn” Hilton refuses to accept Quintana’s latest peace offering, he fears the worst for her: “Worst case scenario she goes to jail for felony assault and criminal threat (sic), which is a felony in LA. “It surely makes more sense to settle this – at the moment she can’t even speak to me and it must be embarrassing for her to have a restraining order in place against her.”
