Paris Hilton is reportedly being lined-up to present an award at next month’s star-studded Brit awards.

Organisers want the hotel heiress at the prestigious bash because they believe her presence could spark controversy.

A source told Britain’s The Sun newspaper: “Paris Hilton is the big American name who will be there on the night to present an award. She has exactly the right credentials to get herself into trouble on the night.”

“She could well get herself booed by the serious rock ‘n’ roll contingent – and whatever happens she won’t be boring.”

Sexy socialite Paris Hilton did it again. The Hilton heir was seen falling on the floor after a wild, drinking night, at a swanky club on Monday morning.

Hilton, 24, was spotted leaving from the Hollywood club very drunk and, after just a few steps outside, tripped and fell.

A source is quoted in Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper as saying: ‘Paris was on top form at the start of the night and looked very posh in her blue dress and beads. But at the end she was out of it so she had to duck out and make her excuses, fast!’

Meanwhile, Hilton and her boyfriend, the Greek multi-millionaire Stavros Niarchos, were suspected of using drugs when they had the crash accident in November.

Invited at ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ last week, a friend of the couple declared: “About a half hour before Paris Hilton had that car crash, I may have given her some mind-altering substances,”

“I probably shouldn’t say that. Whoops!”

LATEST: 17 January 2006 is likely to become a ‘black Tuesday’ for socialite PARIS HILTON who faces a double court session after being accused of verbal abuse in two separate lawsuits.

THE SIMPLE LIFE star stands accused of spewing “vicious lies” about an altercation with romantic rival ZETA GRAFF at a London nightclub in one suit and harassing a Los Angeles club boss in another.

Diamond heiress Graff is seeking upwards of $10 million (GBP5.5 million) in damages for comments Hilton made about her in a New York Post article last summer (05).

Hilton told the newspaper that the former lover of her ex-beau, PARIS LATSIS, went “berserk” in a London club and attempted to steal the US socialite’s diamond necklace.

A 17 January (06) hearing is scheduled to consider Hilton’s request for more information about the damages claim – the same day she’s set to face charges she harassed and verbally abused Los Angeles promoter BRIAN QUINTANA.

Quintana alleges Hilton has badmouthed him in the press and threatened his life. He is seeking a restraining order.

A spokesman for Hilton says, “When all of the facts are revealed in this matter, they will show that the victim is, in fact, Paris Hilton.”

A friend of PARIS HILTON’s new boyfriend STAVROS NIARCHOS has accused the celebrity socialite of using racial insults against him, labelling him a “lazy Mexican”.

BRIAN QUINTANA served Hilton’s legal representatives with a “cease and desist” letter last month (DEC05), and applied for a restraining order against the hotel heiress last Friday (30DEC05).

In legal papers, the LA events promoter also contends that Hilton has bombarded him with threatening phone calls in a bid to destroy his friendship with Greek shipping heir Niarchos, and alleges “(Hilton) has a drug problem, some rather shady associates, and is known for erratic behavior”.

Quintana has played a recorded phone conversation to the New York Daily News in which a female he claims is Hilton screams, “You’re a pathetic f**king loser! Never call or text Paris or Stavros again!”

He tells the newspaper, “I moved in the past week, and I got one call where she said, ‘We know you moved. Tell us where you moved to, p**sy boy.’”

Socialite PARIS HILTON has reportedly admitted fabricating a story about the former girlfriend of her ex-fiance PARIS LATSIS, who claimed the hotel heiress made defamatory statements about her.

Model/actress/producer ZETA GRAFF filed a $10 million (GBP5.5 million) lawsuit last summer (05), alleging Hilton made-up stories about Graff’s jealous and criminal behaviour and supplied them to the New York Post newspaper.

A source tells the publication, “Hilton made a deposition in the slander lawsuit, and admitted she planted a false story in the press in which she claimed Graff attacked her in a London nightclub.

In a statement, Graff says, “Hilton will learn a valuable lesson about what happens when you try to ruin another person’s reputation. She made a number of false statements about me, and she repeatedly lied under oath during her recent deposition. I look forward to her explaining all of this to a jury.”

Hilton’s publicist ELLIOT MINTZ says, “In view of the fact that it’s an ongoing matter, I’m not in a position to make any comment.”

BRIAN QUINTANA has served Hilton’s legal representatives with a “cease and desist” letter which contends that she is “ruining his reputation and interfering with his business relationships”, according to PageSix.com.

Quintana’s legal papers read: “We would expect Ms Hilton to understand the danger of making false statements against others.”

The Los Angeles party planner claims his feud with Hilton reached a head during an American Music Awards after-party when she allegedly requested security to remove Niarchos’ friends from LA’s Club Privilege.

Socialite Paris Hilton feared for her life after allegedly receiving death threats last year, a Los Angeles court heard on Tuesday.

Softcore porn producer Joe Francis gave evidence in Los Angeles Superior Court during a preliminary hearing against suspect Darnell Riley, who stands accused of burglary, robbery, carjacking, kidnapping and attempted-extortion.

The Girls Gone Wild producer claims he found Riley trespassing in his Bel Air, California home on January 22, 2004, and was forced to perform demeaning sex acts on himself, which were videotaped, at gunpoint.

Riley also allegedly demanded $1,000 (€845) and Francis’ Rolex watch, before saying: “I need $100,000 (€84,500) cash, or you’re going to die.”

The case spent most of last year unsolved until Hilton gave police vital information that led to the arrest of Riley, claiming she’d heard Riley’s name mentioned in relation to Francis’ attack on the Hollywood party scene.

Francis testified yesterday that his ex-girlfriend Hilton had spoken to him about Riley at a party in late 2004: “Paris Hilton pulled me aside at a party and said, ‘I’m being extorted by Darnell Riley for $20,000 (€16,900) a month and he’s threatened to kill me if I don’t pay.’”

Paris Hilton has reportedly been banned from the Los Angeles nightclub, LAX, for badmouthing her former best friend Nicole Richie.

America’s In Touch magazine reported that Paris had been politely asked to leave after slating her Simple Life co-star all night long. “No one will admit it but Paris is now banned from LAX,” a source was quoted as saying.

The news follows Paris’ public sympathy for Nicole’s breakup with fiancé Adam Goldstein. Paris declared: “I am really sorry to hear about Nic’s engagement. I went through the same thing. With Christmas coming up, I realise I really miss her and want to get in touch again.”

PARIS HILTON is hoping to distance herself from her newfound title as the world’s worst dog owner, by purchasing two new puppies.

The hotel heiress recently acquired the undesirable title from magazines The New York Dog and Hollywood Dog, days before the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals named her as the worst dressed celebrity for her love of wearing fur.

But 24-year-old Hilton, who counts a ferret, a kinkajou monkey and a goat among her list of pets, is undeterred and recently took ownership of Chihuahua puppies TOKYO BLUE and HARAJUKU BITCH during a trip to Japan.

She says, “That’s it, no more pets for now.”

It reportedly took hotel heiress Paris Hilton only two hours to drop a cool $100,000 in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Hilton, 22, stuffed her car with goods from Louis Vuitton, Sony Style and Jennifer Kaufman during a Saturday shopping spree, the New York Post reported Monday.

She reportedly left the shopping district once her car was so stuffed it couldn`t hold another bag, the newspaper said.

Despite her $28 million trust fund, Hilton has turned out to be a savvy businesswoman, the Post noted.
