Episode 5 was shown last night on American tv but unfortunately the place where I get the episodes from don’t have it yet. I will keep trying to get it but I can’t promise anything.

Edit: Well it looks like I won’t be getting it this week. I’ll still continue to try (I wanna see the episode myself damn it! lol) though. Some people have said that the episode is available for download on parisfan.org so you can all check it out there.

Since I’m getting loads of e-mails about this I thought I’d make a post and tell you all that The Simple Life was not shown last week, there is no episode 5 yet.
It should be on tomorrow though, so we will get the episode on Monday. =)

Paris Hilton has rubbished the idea “The Simple Life” offers viewers an insight into what she is actually like as the reality show is “fake.”

The hotel heiress and her former best friend Nicole Richie star in the popular program, but Hilton deliberately set out to invent a character not like her true self.

She says, “‘Simple Life’ is a reality show and people might assume it’s real. But it’s fake. All reality shows are fake basically. When you have a camera on you, you are not going to act yourself.

“So before I started the show I thought I’d make a character like the movies. ‘Legally Blonde’ and ‘Clueless’ mixed together, with a rich girl all-in-one.

“Even my voice is different from me in real life. It’s a character I like to play. I think it’s carefree and happy.

“The public think they know me but they really don’t.”

Budding pop star Paris Hilton insists she is simply doing “paid work” whenever she is seen partying at trendy night-spots - and she is actually not enjoying herself at all. The blonde heiress says it is her duty and her job to go out and live it up, and wishes the public could understand how shy she actually is. She says, “If you see pictures of me out I’m being paid. When I turn up at an event it is work. “People don’t think I’m shy but I am. When the cameras are there and they are taking pictures then it’s my job.”
