This little photo was taken at a club in Vegas by a reader during a little Sin City rendezvous between Paris Hilton and football fella Matt Leinart earlier this month.

Sources close to the Stars Are Blind singer tell us that the two are keeping things very casual.

“Matt really likes Paris, but she’s focusing on her music career now,” says the source.

And, she’s also focusing some attention on former flame Stavros Niarchos.

The heiress and the Greek spent some “quality time” in Los Angeles this week.

Socialite Paris Hilton has launched a veiled attack on her The Simple Life co-star Nicole Richie by calling skinny celebrities “gross”. The daughter of soul star Lionel Richie has worried friends and relatives with her dramatic weight loss after she and former best friend Hilton mysteriously fell out last year (05). And the hotel heiress insists she has no time for those who take their physique to the extreme. She says, “A lot of women are too thin. I think the ones who are getting really skinny look gross.”

E! Entertainment Television has ordered a fifth season of the reality series The Simple Life, E! Networks president and CEO Ted Harbert announced at the Television Critics Association press tour on Tuesday.

But this time, stars and best friends-turned-archenemies Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie might not be filmed separately, as they were for season four, The Simple Life: ‘Til Death Do Us Part.

“I don’t have any control over whether they’ll be friends by next season,” Harbert tells PEOPLE. “We need to talk about the best thing to do for the show, and I’m not sure shooting them separately again is the best thing for the show.”

On the most recent season, Hilton, 25, and Richie, 24, were shown trying to run the households of regular families – but the two did not share any screen time.

Still, the show was a hit for E! – its June 6 premiere drew triple the cable net’s average viewers. “We pulled off a difficult thing this year, but frankly we got away with it,” says Harbert. “We can’t do that again.”

And hopefully, when the feuding heiresses are forced to interact, sparks will fly, says an insider. “They want to give the viewers what they want, and what the viewers want is to see Paris and Nicole together, fighting,” says the source.

Paris Hilton decided to ditch her dream of becoming a veterinarian after realising what the job would entail.

The ‘Stars Are Blind’ singer loves animals but chose not to pursue her childhood ambition of working with them after discovering she may have to kill them as well as save them.

She told Contactmusic: “I first wanted to be a veterinarian. And then I realised you had to give them shots to put them to sleep, so I decided I’d just buy a bunch of animals and have them in my house instead.”

The socialite recently purchased a kitten and a parrot to add to her growing menagerie, which also includes various dogs, ferrets and monkeys.

Paris Hilton hasn’t eaten meat since meeting Heather Mills McCartney. The blonde star says she converted to vegetarianism after the former model, the estranged wife of Sir Paul McCartney, showed her a shocking video of animal cruelty.

She said: “From that point I’ve never worn fur and I never will.”I also haven’t eaten any meat since. I just survive on pasta and stuff like that. I was grossed out. It was disgusting.”

Paris also claims she is nothing like the ditzy blonde character she says she “invented” for her reality TV show “The Simple Life.” She added in an interview with Britain’s The Sun newspaper: “All reality shows are fake basically. When you have a camera on you, you are not going to act yourself.

“So before I started the show I though I’d make my character like the movies ‘Legally Blonde’ and ‘Clueless’ mixed together, with a rich girl all-in-one. “Even my voice and the way I dress is different from me in real life.”

Paris insists she is much more than just a pretty face and as well as currently launching her debut single, “Stars Are Blind”, and album, she is also preparing to open her own chain of hotels and a nightclub in London.

Socialite Paris Hilton has barely any friends left because so many of them have betrayed her by selling stories to the press. The hotel heiress hates confrontation so simply ends the friendships without explanation.

She says, “Yes, sadly I have (been betrayed). If I suspect my friends of not being honest with me I’ll test them and tell them a lie. “If I read about it, then I’ll know it was them. It’s heartbreaking when I find out that a friend I trusted has deceived me. It breaks my heart. “I just hate confronting people, I can’t do it. I’m too embarrassed to say something to their face, so I will just immediately cut them off and never ever speak to them again. “I won’t even tell them why!”
