NBC News has decided not to pursue a post-prison interview with Paris Hilton, “It’s not happening,” an NBC News insider said. “We pulled out.”
The news division had been in discussions with the Hilton family about having the jailed heiress talk with Today co-anchor Meredith Vieria next week. The plans appeared to be on track until Friday afternoon, but insiders said the network had become frustrated with the family’s demands.
NBC News execs may have also been put off by the negative publicity surrounded by reports that it was paying for a Hilton interview. At no time did NBC News offer money for the sitdown, sources said. But discussions Hilton reps had with the network’s entertainment division about a separate project created the appearance that the news interview was part of the deal.
Why give further interviews anyway?People will always misquote her or turn her words against her on purpose.
Everyone in the world knows by now who Paris Hilton is.
People will Always be interested and intrigued by her.
She ought to do what Jackie Kennedy did and only show up at high class events looking stunning, saying NOTHING.
The less she says the more people will want her, especially if her relationship with Stav develops further. Silence is golden.

I really doubt everyone hates her because she’s pretty, when I used to dislike her it was because she was trashy, but she isn’t anymore.
There was a video a while back where Paris gives a homeless man $100 and after that I was like, “okay, nobody is going to be able to say anything negative about this”, but guess what, they did. They were all like “Oh she only gave him that money because there was press there, if there weren’t any cameras she would have ignored him.” By then I wanted to go through the computer and give them each a good smack across the face. Nothing ever pleases them, they talk about how selfish and spoiled she is and as soon as she does something selfless they still have something to gripe about.
By now I have learned that no matter what there are going to be haters. Its not only Paris it goes for celebrities who haven’t done anything either like Hilary Duff or Dakota Fanning. Some of it is probably jealousy but I’ve learned to stop caring, to ignore them. If there’s someone out there willing to spend 5 hours of their life a day on the internet going on about how much they hate a person, they’re the ones with the problem. I remember when I used to disliked Paris I just never acknowledged her.

yes unfortunately whatever paris does people are gonna think it’s for the camera’s, she has done many good things, but no one every writes about that, like when she and kim kardashian visited sick kids in a hospital when the were in hawaii and paris once even visited a sick girl in the hospital, brought her all kinds of paris stuff and paris heard the girl had a lil dog just like tinkerbell, so paris went and bought the girl a whole bunch of clothes and stuff for her lil dog, i guess that was just for the camera too right, paris happens to be a very sweet girl but no one ever wants to acknowledge it, people just love to hate her for some reason, it’s stupid!!!
