Socialite PARIS HILTON was shocked during an appearance in New York City on Friday (16JUNE06), when she was approached by a man who is trying to sell her personal items from a Los Angeles storage facility. Hilton was appearing at MACy’s department store to launch her new perfume, Just Me, when the man turned up in the long line of women who were queueing for an autographed photo.

According to PageSix.com, DAVID HANS SCHMIDT introduced himself as the broker of her private diaries, videotapes and photographs that were put up for auction when she didn’t pay her storage bill. Schmidt replied, ‘Make it out to ‘The Guy Who Has My Storage Locker Stuff.’ A stunned Hilton reportedly shot back, “That stuff can’t be published.’ Schmidt retorted with, “Like your sex video?”, referring to Hilton’s infamous sex tape 1 NIGHT IN PARIS.

Schmidt offered to sell Hilton’s possession’s back to her, and presented her with a family photograph from the storage stash of her as a little girl holding her younger sister NICKY as proof he actually had access to the contents. Hilton reportedly agreed to meet with Schmidt back in Los Angeles and signed his photo, “To David, Love Paris Hilton xoxo.”
