Actress ZETA GRAFF has filed a $10 million (GBP5.6 million) lawsuit against hotel heiress PARIS HILTON for slandering her in a leading US newspaper.
Graff filed a write last week (ends15JUL05) after Hilton’s publicist commented on a story from the New York Post, which claimed the 36-year-old had attacked the SIMPLE LIFE TV beauty.
FIFTH ELEMENT star, Graff – who used to date Hilton’s fiance PARIS LATSIS – has hired a team of top lawyers to fight Hilton and expects to succeed, because she recently won a $18 million (GBP10 million) divorce settlement from her ex-husband FRANCOIS.
An insider tells British newspaper The Mail on Sunday, “Zeta has filed for slander because the New York Post item was fabricated.”
