Paris is said to have been told by boyfriend Benji that he would prefer it if she didn’t get a tattoo, because he doesn’t like tattoos on women.
Paris revealed that Benji is planning to have an image of her etched on his heavily-tattooed torso, but she isn’t allowed to return the compliment.
She explains, “He is going to get one of me but he won’t let me get one. He doesn’t like tattoos on women. He thinks I look pure.”

Oh well what he said doesn’t sound chauvinistic at all.
*sarcasm*
I like though that she wouldn’t get one…oh god…that’d just…oh god…

I don’t blame Benji. Paris is beautiful enough without tatts.

Yeah, but the way he said it, he sounds chauvinistic. I’d hate it if she got such a tattoo, soley because it’d be like she was branding herself with somebody’s name. I personally would, hypothetically, let her if she wanted. I’m not one of these guys who would sound authoritatian and just seem all nice…

He sounds sweet?

To me that sounds chauvinistic.

Most guys have a tendency to schoolmaster a little.
Benji seems like a take-charge guy and a lot of girls like that in a man.
Joel Madden is reportedly the same.
Paris is with Benji because she WANTS to be with him. Her choice.
And btw, stating a preference is not chauvinistic.

WHY do women like that in a man? Do they have some form of inferiority complex brainwashed into them by society?
The non-chauvinistic way would be to state one’s preference, but not “forbid” the girl from doing it. That’s what’s wrong with society - we always tolerate the take-charge schoolmastering type of guy. I’ll write a blog about this…

I don’t think Benji has actually forbid Paris to get a tattoo, she can do whatever she wants, but he’s allowed to have an opinion about it. The tabloids always exaggerate and make it sound like the person/people involved are horrible people.
If my boyfriend told me he didn’t like tattoos, I would definitely think twice before getting one. If you know your partner is going to think it’s ugly, it’s fair enough to not go ahead and do it. It doesn’t mean the guy is being chauvinistic.

I heard this may be fake, and I really hope it is. The implications behind him getting a Paris tattoo are frightening for me…

Morgan get over it. You don’t know Paris, you’ll never be her boyfriend, stop calling Benji names just cause he’s in love with her.

Neither do you, Mr. retrograde.
July 5th, 2008 at 11:09 am
Ok honestly, I’ve loved Benji alot longer than I have Paris, and they are such a great couple. Benji is really really nice, and I think they’re good for each other. And I agree with retrograde, Benji’s allowed his opinion and I think it wouldn’t look too good if Paris got a tattoo of Benji. That’s my opinion though. Benji must really love Paris to tattoo her face on him, why can’t people just accept that they’re happy with each other? >.<
