When she isn’t out shopping, Avril Lavigne seems content taking shots at the likes of Britney Spears and Paris Hilton.
To start things off, Lavigne is quoted as saying that Britney “could get away from†the press if she really wanted to, and that she doesn’t get as much attention as Britney because she wants it that way.
“The press isn’t all over me like that. She’s probably one of the people who can’t control it. But if you don’t want it, you could get away from it. I don’t want my picture taken all the time,†Lavigne was quoted as saying by MSNBC.
Upholding her image, Lavigne added that she and Whibley aren’t tabloid targets because they avoid the press.
“If you want to be a tabloid couple, go around every red carpet in L.A., go to The Ivy for lunch. We don’t do any of that. To us, it’s cheesy. It’s lame.â€
In another interview, Lavigne commented in regards to Paris Hilton, saying, “I think it’s funny that there are people who are famous who haven’t done anything. They’re just famous for being at Hollywood clubs or for dating people. The thing you have to remember with that kind of fame is it’s 20 seconds long. So really, I feel kind of bad for them.â€

I don’t understand how Avril Lavigne can say that Paris is famous for doing nothing, ofcourse, her family name helped but she has done a lot in her life, more that Avril Lavigne anyway..!

Everyone should seriously just ignore Avril Lavigne. SHe lashes out at EVERYONE. SHe called Hilary Duff a “goody-two-shoes” after Hilary said something about her treating her fans better. Once again we have another example of a celebrity promoting their new material by commenting on Paris Hilton. Its quite sad actually because Paris never talks **** about anyone else in Hollywood.

I think Avril is pretty funny. She comes off as this tough girl but she just picks of these girls like Britney, Hilary, and Paris. If she’s so tough, why doesn’t she go try acting like it.
