I just received this interesting e-mail from Rachelle Mendez who works for ABC. Here is what she had to say:

I am a casting producer for ABC TV’s Wife Swap, and we are currently searching
for families for our new season; we are particularly interested in casting a
family with EXTREMELY OUTGOING TEENAGERS! I did a Google search for Paris
Hilton Fans and this led me to your site. I am hoping you would be willing to
forward my casting search request to your site or to recommend any families.

The premise of Wife Swap is that one parent from each household swaps places
for a week to experience how another family lives. It is an incredible family
opportunity to both learn and teach different family values.
Potential families can live anywhere in the United States, but we ask that
families applying for the show consist of two parents and have at least one
child, age 5 or older, living at home.
Wife Swap is a fascinating story of what happens when two married couples see
themselves and their spouses in a whole new light. The New York Post says, “It
should be called ?Life Swap? because it’s not just the wives who learn
something here. It’s the families.”
